What can be more fun than getting together with friends and enjoying wine and sweets, all while painting a beautiful masterpiece to hang in your home? A lively group had a blast while we ate, drank and painted up a storm at our Paint and Wine evening. The Senior Table Tennis Therapy program, sponsored by the Sport and Art Education Foundation and Valley Jewish Community Center, has been meeting for over six months. Led by a professional coach, the group meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at the Center.
We have added more people to our group and invite you to join us. The focus of the program is to help seniors with memory loss, dementia and/or Alzheimer's symptoms. We are experiencing positive results and having a wonderful time participating and socializing.
