On Sunday, 3/26, the Men’s Club traveled to Santa Monica Airport to visit the Museum of Flight. Our group was warmly welcomed and Linda, our docent, was a very outgoing and knowledgeable person to say the least.

What can be more fun than getting together with friends and enjoying wine and sweets, all while painting a beautiful masterpiece to hang in your home? A lively group had a blast while we ate, drank and painted up a storm at our Paint and Wine evening. If you couldn't make it this time, we hope you will be able to join us for exciting events in the future.

Valley Jewish Community Center (VJCC) announced today that Jerry Wayne, Executive Director of VJCC, has been asked to speak at a Congressional Briefing on the National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) on September 21st in Washington, D.C. This briefing is sponsored by Solera Health, a National DPP integrator that connects patients, payers, and physicians with a new class of non-clinical healthcare providers who are preventing and managing chronic disease. Congressman Tom Reed (R-NY) will provide introductions and comments.

The Valley Jewish Community Center Tribute Cards are a beautiful way for you to celebrate and remember your friends and family.

Valley Jewish Community Center is pleased to offer a choice of two Tribute Cards:

The IN HONOR OF card can be sent for any occasion:  birthday, holiday, get well, accomplishment, etc.  The MEMORIAL CARD expresses the heartfelt sympathy of the donor and acknowledges that the donation was made in loving memory to commemorate the life of an individual.                                                   

A member of our Center Welcome Committee will sign and mail the card you select per your instructions OR you may choose to purchase the unsigned card and accompanying mailing envelope.  

A suggested minimum donation is Chai ($18) per card.  Please allow five business days for delivery from the time we receive your order.
